NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW TESTING PATIENTS

Welcome to the Counseling Center of West Michigan! My name is Jessica Fleser and I am able to offer therapy and psychological testing.

My college experience started at Grand Rapids Community College where I found my calling in psychology. After earning my Associates Degree, I transferred to Central Michigan University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Mathematics. I wanted to travel all my life and be able to see the world. In order to make that happen, I decided to study abroad. I obtained my Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Webster Vienna Private University in Vienna, Austria. Throughout those years, I gained experience tutoring and counseling individuals from various walks of life. I have been in practice for about six years and in that time, I have worked with clients who have experienced mental illness such as dissociative disorders, suicidal ideation, crisis, mood disorders, anxiety, relationship concerns, psychosis, behavioral concerns, situational stress, and sleep disturbances.

As your testing provider, I can help assess concerns with ADHD and mental health symptoms (e.g. depression, personality, dissociation, PTSD, etc.). I can even help you determine what vocations you would be the best fit for and any concerns with learning or achievement. Following your assessment, you will be given a variety of resources in order to help you on your journey.

As your therapist, I can help provide insight into challenging situations, offer a listening ear and empathetic support, and I want to be able to help you through your recovery journey. Every person's situation is unique, and I will be able to help you set personal goals, find symptom relief, develop problem-solving and coping skills, and improve your overall sense of self.

I will be a neutral voice, someone who will be accepting of what you are going through and walk with you through your recovery process. I like to use a variety of techniques such as CBT, Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, DBT, and others. Regardless of where you are at in your recovery, I will meet you there.
