Reaching out for counseling takes courage, humility, and strength. Whether you are seeking support for a life stressor, recent loss, family disconnection, mental health challenges, or to address and navigate relationship difficulties, my goal is to collaborate with you to achieve lasting change and growth. Together, we will develop treatment goals, clarify personal values, strengthen coping strategies, and give you a safe and non-judgmental space to feel heard and validated.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, and have worked for the past 20 years in healthcare and mental healthcare systems, supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenging medical diagnoses or difficult life stressors. I bring warmth, compassion, skill, and caring attention to help you along your journey.
I firmly believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and I will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that integrates the right strategies to ensure that you or your loved one is supported and empowered. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family-Systems Therapy.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, OCD, and ADHD. I also have many years of experience providing emotional support to those who have been diagnosed with complex medical conditions. I have a special interest and skills in family and couples’ counseling, including premarital counseling.
