ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Often life presents us with difficulties we could have never imagined or expected. Sometimes we are left facing these challenges with no direction of where to begin. Therapy is a great place to start with exploring where you are and where you are heading. I will help you find meaning and find direction to the unique struggles you face.
I seek to meet you where you are and provide a safe, welcoming environment as you begin your journey to being your best self. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, and Dialectical Behavioral approaches to support you on your path to becoming your best self. Prioritizing yourself can be overwhelming and I look forward to providing you with a warm, nurturing environment to take those first steps. We will work through this together and I will support you each step of the way.
I obtained my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University in 2011 and am a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor with 11 years of experience providing individual and group therapy with both adults and adolescents. I have a history of providing intensive case management services, clinical supervision, substance use treatment, and also participated on a comprehensive Dialectical Behavioral Therapy treatment team. Currently I’m working toward obtaining my certification in Perinatal Mental Health.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, running, lifting weights, listening to music, and reading. I love dogs and enjoy spoiling my two labs, Rory and Chase.
