ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Stress is something that none of us can avoid in life, we experience it for many different reasons and in many ways, and often it is unexpected. At times, our stress may feel unmanageable, it may cause us to experience strong emotions and to feel out of control. It may interfere with our ability to function and to feel like ourselves. It can overshadow the positive and enjoyable moments and feel impossible to overcome.
Fortunately, you do not have to face these struggles alone.
I have been a master’s level social worker for ten years and have worked with people in a variety of settings, including both inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities, hospital and medical based facilities, as well as community based programs. I have extensive experience using multiple treatment modalities to help children, adolescents, adults, families and couples develop and utilize practical strategies, tools and healthy coping skills to better manage their thoughts, emotions and behaviors and effectively work through their stressors. I work with people who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, conflict in relationships, as well as various other areas of stress.
It is my goal to provide a comfortable space where we can work together to navigate through your stressors and help you to have more time and energy to focus elsewhere in your life. I hope to help you build your self-awareness and feel more capable and confident in your own abilities to work through whatever comes up.
