ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
“I can’t go on.” “How am I ever going to get through this?” “Can this relationship even be saved?” We have all gone through valleys in our lives where we have whispered or even shouted these painful statements to ourselves, or someone else. Being seen and being heard while someone walks with you through those valleys, is the starting point for effective therapy. I believe in creating a safe space for all my clients where we can together explore your present struggles, your relationships, your past, your thoughts, and your feelings. And finally, we can create future goals. You are not alone. Together, we can work towards healing, creating new ways of coping, and connecting to others more authentically and deeply. Imagine waking up refreshed, hopeful, engaged, and connected once again, or, for the first time ever.
As a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cornerstone University, where I graduated in May of 2022. I utilize an eclectic, client-centered approach in therapy to treat my clients and their relationships. I follow my client’s pace and allow them to lead in counseling in the areas where they desire to grow. I have a passion for working with couples and marriages, and I use a combination of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) for relationship counseling. I also love working with teens and adults of all ages and in all stages of life! I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with adolescents and adults in individual therapy to gently generate change in thoughts and behaviors. I treat people that have depression, anxiety, addictions, faith-based crisis, and a wide range of challenges and struggles to help to improve one’s overall wellness. I value psychodynamic exploration of past relationships and experiences that affect your present relationships. Finally, I use existential and acceptance-based therapies for self-acceptance, situational acceptance, and creating purpose.
As your therapist, and advocate, I am honored to take that walk with you, through your valley. Please reach out for a free consultation if you think this support is what you may be looking for as you navigate a difficult season in your life or your relationship.
