You are the expert on you. I will work with you in a collaborative therapeutic relationship to empower you to reach your goals. You will be heard, respected, supported, and encouraged in a safe environment free of judgement. With the space and time to be open and honest, I hope to help you explore, grow, and heal.
In 2015, I graduated with my Master of Social Work from Michigan State University. I have experience working in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospitalization programs (including Mother-Baby). In these settings, I provided individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents, adults, and older adults. I have worked with individuals with anxiety/panic, depression/mood disorders, suicidal ideation/self-harm, personality disorders, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD). Areas of interest include women’s issues, grief/loss, trauma, LGBTQ+, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is trauma informed, strength-based, and holistic. I integrate mindfulness, compassion, and body awareness techniques. Some of the other evidence-based practices I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Thank you for the opportunity to work together!
